Custom Inground Pools & Remodels in Maryland

Gunite pools generally take longer to build than fiberglass or vinyl liner pools because the structure is formed and cured on-site as part of a multi-phase construction process.

Construction timelines can vary based on:

• Pool size and design complexity
• Site conditions and excavation requirements
• Local permitting and inspections
• Weather conditions
• Custom features and outdoor living additions

With normal backyard conditions, many residential gunite pools are completed in approximately 8 to 10 weeks from excavation to completion. Fiberglass and vinyl liner pools can often be installed more quickly since their shells or structural components are manufactured before arriving on-site.

While the construction process takes longer, homeowners often choose gunite for its unmatched customization, durability, and long-term value.
